Top rope anchors courses are one or two-day intensives designed to teach proper top rope setting.
Work at your own pace and learn to confidently set your own top-ropes, mastering your knowledge about climbing gear, knots, natural features, passive and active gear, equalization, master points, and more. Advanced systems will also be introduced. With Apex’s highly-trained and certified guide, you will gain the knowledge and tools to become a self-sufficient top rope climber. A typical Top Rope Anchors Course with Apex explores either the East or West bluffs of Devil’s Lake State Park, the most common locations to rock climb.
