Devils Lake Rappelling

About the Devil’s Lake Rappelling Adventure

During this Devil’s Lake Rappelling Adventure, you’ll lower down multiple faces of iconic purple quartzite rock ranging from 20-70 feet.  Apex guides will first outfit you with the proper gear, then share a hike, set up a rappel rigging system, and guide you through lowering yourself in a controlled setting.  You’ll be given instruction and a tutorial before doing your first rappel.  Attendees typically get 3-5 rappels in during this adventure and will learn about using a rappel device, simple concepts of the rope system, and effective lowering skills. Get a thrill with this half-day trip, offered as a discount for the group option or as a half-day private.  It may also be important to note that this type of adventure may not be suitable for those with a fear of heights.
