Need to get your kiddies out of the house and into the outdoors?  We have the perfect way for parents to get their own summer vacation, while their kids learn about themselves and the outdoors.  Our Kid’s Summer Adventure Camp is offered to kids 10-14 years old.  Apex Adventure Alliance guides will bring them on a two day adventure exploring everything Devil’s Lake State Park has to offer.  Kids will rock climb, swim, learn to cook on the camp fire, learn to camp, relax, and build relationship with other kids.

 

What’s Included?
All adventure-based activities, all guides (male and female), all gear for camping (certain gear available upon request), all meals and snacks (lunch, dinner, breakfast, lunch).

Kid’s Summer Adventure Camp Schedule

Day 1:
Drop your child off at Devil’s Lake State Park. Drop off is 8-9am.
Icebreaker games!
Campers will gear up for a short hike to our climbing area.
Lunch will be served as a break in the day.
More Rock Climbing!
When the group gets tired, we will hike back to our campsite to relax.
Head to the lake for a refreshing swim.
Back to camp to learn about camp cooking, relax, and eat dinner.
Our evening will be spent playing games, making s’mores, and will end with sleeping in tents.

 

Day 2:
Kids will wake up to a yummy breakfast.
The kids will help plan the day with the choice of a combination or rock climbing and another activity (hiking, swimming, boats, etc).
Kids will take a break for lunch in the afternoon.
Parents will meet us at the end of the day to pick up their kids. Pick up is 3-4pm.

 

Extra Day of Camp (August 5-7 only):
Morning wake-up game after breakfast.
